The Upper Catskill Television Network (UCTN), was formed to create unique, original programming for broadcast in national and international markets.  It is the first regional High Definition network in the Northeast to produce content through a collaboration of working professionals in the industry with emerging film and video students from colleges and universities and other talented artists. 

This New York State, 501(c)3 not-for profit corporation, will cover a broad spectrum of the industry, producing programming for motion pictures, made for TV movies, television series, dramas, documentaries, musical performance events, comedy performance venues, educational shows, music videos, and not-for profit projects. 

UCTN’s unique approach to developing new talent, both behind and in front of the camera with an educational component, will bring the world closer to the Upper Catskill area from its world headquarters in Oneonta, New York. It will train and develop writers, producers, directors, actors, editors, and technicians to create content for broadcast with a significant emphasis on quality and originality.  All programming will be in High Definition video, the format of the future.  This innovative approach of combining working professionals with emerging film and media students from educational institutions, has great potential and will give UCTN, and those associated with it, an opportunity to create works of substance, importance, and significance.
